Punainen mekko - Red dress

Ei näy raitoja jostain syystä! - For some reason the stripes have disappeared!

In my latest blog post I made a shirt using this same red and black striped knitting fabric (I'm not sure if that's the right word...) and now I have finished a dress of the rest of that fabric. The inspiration for this plain model dress was one of my favourite winter dresses which I use very often. That dress is black and not made by me but for it's simplicity it's easy to wear and it never lets me down.

Once again, this dress also has 3/4-sleeves. I just love that length. I have woren this dress twice so far and I noticed how warm the fabric is! It's a good quality for a winter dress, hehe. :)

For my next project I had already chosen a pattern (Burda 1/2014) but then I realized I have lost the pattern sheet! I think I have to turn the house upside-down or just give up and get another idea..

Anyways, I wish you a great Saturday night! Thanks for visiting my blog. :)

  1. Don't you love sewing with knits. You did another real nice job on this one. Red looks fabulous on you. You and Stephanie both like the 3/4 sleeves. Whenever she buys a long sleeve top I have to alter the sleeves for her.
